I love this, low-key best Indian food in Royal Oak and I’m not even kidding. A small place, a walk up area, you would never believe it, but it truly is the highest quality that you can find in the area. Especially for the price! And they’re over the hookah lounge! For a Future dine in spot. If you like Indian food look no further

Had been wanting to check out this eatery for awhile and finally got around to it. It was raining outside but im very happy that I did. Out of the many places I have been, I've NEVER had lamb and chicken that was so tender and full of flavor. This servuce was spot on and was great in assisting us with out choices as this was out first time here. We ordered the detroit burger which is good and topped with a sunny side up egg. (If you want it cooked differently you have to ask for it). The NY mixed plate which comes with lamb and chicken over a bed of yellow rice. Last but not least, we had the Lo mein noodles as spicy as it can get because we just jad to try it. After a taste of everything, the questions isnt am I going back, its simply WHEN AM I GOING BACK!!

I live across the street and come here all the time. They have the a nice selection and really fair prices. Honestly this place is fire and the people there are very friendly.

Been eating here for the past few weeks with my girlfriend. The food is absolutely amazing. Although they are usually quite busy, they never take longer than 15 minutes to finish our order. I recommend the rice platters. They are absolutely delicious!

You'd think that a place with such a varied menu of items would be trash, but Detroit Eatery was actually fantastic. It's carry out only, and if you order in person, you'll be standing outside for about 10 minutes or so waiting on food. Portions were huge and everything we tried (about 5 dishes) was great.

Edit: This spot is ussualy good but they just sent me the most trash chicken fries rice ive ever had. Literatly taste like burnt onions and peppers no seasoning at all. Trash man will be hard to go back and we go atleast once a week $30+ everytime. Get it together. Should be proper deliver or in person. The halal platters and beef patties over here are amazing. That white sauce go crazy. Milk cakes are slappin too. I havent really got into the rest of the menu yet but soon come!! Flavors 🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼

We have no idea why it took us so long to find this place. It's open late and offers a great variety of food. Gyros, bryani, Butter Chicken, hamburgers! You name it! AND everything we've had so far has been absolutely heavenly and everything else looks amazing and we will be definitely coming back here. Great prices for the portions of food given (we always have leftovers and we eat alot). We absolutely loved the atmosphere, if in a hurry they have a walk up window and they just expanded and added indoor seating in great time for the cold weather.

This place has become a weekly spot for carry out. I usually get the Butter Chicken and Beef Patty. Flavors are always amazing and consistent. Never had a bad experience. The guys who staff it are all really nice!
